Back in July 2020 we took a day trip to York between lockdowns where we could stay in the country. We spent the day walking around taking it all in and we went to the Viking Museum. I think the Viking Museum was my favorite part aside from the Shambles!
The Viking Museum ( https://www.jorvikvikingcentre.co.uk ) below had a ride (pictured) to show you how things would have been in York when the Vikings were settling there.
All in all it was a GREAT day trip and I will always remember our little short trip! I would still LOVE to go back and walk the wall!
