An exhibition at Ely Cathedral. A girls day trip. A moms child-free trip.
Let’s back up to March 8, before all of this lockdown stuff happened. We went to Ely for the crowns and gowns exhibition. It was smaller then we expected but to be honest, I’m not sure what we expected since it WAS only things from scenes that were FILMED on location at Ely Cathedral.
We got there around lunch time so we could have a nice time at tea. Alone. As moms. To talk. It was WONDERFUL!
After our tea chat we made our way over to the Ely Cathedral. It was about a 5-10 minute walk from peacocks. I got a picture of every single item at the exhibit. That’s why I said it was smaller then we expected but not sure why we expected something huge.
If you are local and you haven’t been to the Ely Cathedral, you need to go as soon as you can!
