It’s Sunday morning + were on lockdown/quarantine. So that means beignets for breakfast! I’m no help on a recipe because we LOVE Cafe Du Monde so we just use their ready made mix you can find in most grocery stores. Being in England my mom ships me a few boxes every now and then!
So follow the directions on the box or if you have a favorite recipe then when it comes time to roll out and cut this is where I made it fun for my mickey loving son! Mickey heads! You will need mickey cookie cutter to make it super easy.
Pan fry in a little bit of oil and flip once golden. They do not take long at all. I have my oil heat up while cutting them on medium heat.
Top with a dusting of powdered sugar and serve hot! YUM!
