I’ve had a few messages saying..
“What would you suggest doing on a Saturday?”
“What would you suggest doing this weekend?”
“Any recommendations on things to do on a Sunday?”
Well it depends. What are you in the mood for? The beach? City? Something old and historical?
For the beach you could try the following locations.
- Great Yarmouth, UK
- Hunstanton Beach, UK
- Cromer, UK
- Brighton, UK
- Cornwall, UK
Depending on where you’re driving from some of these are an hour or two and some would be full weekend trips and needing a hotel for Saturday night and maybe Friday if you wanted the full day Saturday. As for things to do in the location, be adventurous! Just walk around and explore, see something you’d like to do, then do it! 🙂

Again a few hours to more of a full weekend, or longer, trips. These places have a ton of things to do,some more than others. All have malls, good food and historical things that can be seen! Again, EXPLORE! Be adventurous find things that don’t seem like your normal touristy things to do and HAVE FUN! 🙂

- Ruins (you can search for ruins on google, National Trust and English Heritage ) 99% of the time ruins are FREE to see! 🙂
I didn’t even name everything you could do!
So England has a ton to offer for you to see and make a day trip out of or even a weekend getaway! You just have to know what you WANT to see. National Trust and English Heritage are great sites! They have a ton of things listed, you can become a member and see it all for free entry, you just pay a yearly fee. But when you add up admission for multiple things you want to see and compare to the yearly fee it is worth it in the end!
Don’t be a tourist. Plan less. Go slowly. I traveled in the most inefficient way possible and it took me exactly where I wanted to go.
Just pick a location and get out there and explore it! See everything it has to offer! And enjoy life! 🙂 The best things that happen aren’t always planned!!
And remember you could even pick the most random thing like, “were going to Beers of Europe today.”
